These Terms govern your use of StopwatchHQ and its timing tools. By using the site you agree to them.

The service

StopwatchHQ provides free, browser-based timing tools (stopwatch, countdown timer, pomodoro timer, interval timer). Everything runs locally in your browser; no data about your timing sessions is transmitted to us.

Acceptable use

• Use the tools for any lawful personal or professional purpose.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not scrape or reuse our content wholesale without attribution or permission.

No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. While we use timestamp-based, drift-free timing logic and test carefully, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Your device's clock, browser behaviour and battery/OS-level throttling are outside our control.

Not for critical use

Please do not rely on StopwatchHQ as the sole timekeeper for safety-critical or high-stakes situations (exams, medical procedures, sports officiating with formal requirements, aviation, legal deadlines). Use a dedicated, certified timing device where accuracy is essential.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StopwatchHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from timing inaccuracies or unavailability of the service.

Intellectual property

The site design, code and written content are owned by StopwatchHQ. Third-party trademarks and branding that may appear in advertising belong to their respective owners.

Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. Ads are clearly separated from the tool interface. We do not control third-party ad content, and its appearance does not imply endorsement. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
